Rating scores a project against named criteria. It is not the same as liking, and it is not open to every membership.
Which memberships can rate

| Membership | Can rate |
|---|---|
| Semester | Yes |
| Annual | Yes |
| Studio | Yes |
| Institutional | Yes |
| Monthly | No |
| Weekly | No |
| No membership | No |
If the rating panel is locked for you and you are on Monthly or Weekly, that is the reason, and upgrading to Semester or above unlocks it. Nothing is wrong with your account.
You cannot rate your own work
Project owners cannot rate their own projects, on any membership. The same applies to work you are on the team of. This keeps a project's score meaningful, and it is why the panel can be locked even for members whose plan does include rating.
How rating works
- You give one score per criterion, not one score for the whole project.
- You can change or remove a rating afterwards.
- Ratings are part of a project's score, and in competitions a community rating counts for considerably more than a like.
If the panel is locked and none of this applies
If you hold Semester or above, the project is not yours, and rating is still unavailable, write to contact@uni.xyz with a link to the project. Include which membership you are on, which saves a round trip.
