We build up our design concept around this oasis theme. We want to create a place where the local people can find peace and happiness in their present chaotic everyday life.
13Castle of ArtCastle of art - the project which has to become an attractive place both to creative youth and to residents who want to enjoy not only the favorable environment but also communication. A functional prototype of this project is the traditional medieval town with a fortification outside, houses of handicraftsmen inside, with areas for trade and communication.
10Honorable MentionFOLLOWING THE MOUND-A hill forming sustainable life- “What is the concept behind your design?” We thought of the design concept based on our concerns about the ‘Temperate climate’ and children's behavior. As a result, it is our concept to respond to the sun and at the same time create a hill suitable for the activity required by children.
13Bubble LinkUnlike conventional bridges, the proposed bridge is composed of bubbles that enable organic movement when open for boats. The organic and metabolic nature of bubbles allows the bridge to grow in the future into a more vibrant public space. As a symbol on the river, the bubbles link all people and celebrate the natural landscape of Copenhagen.
