3Micro housing is in fact a vestibule of a village to enhance communal activitiesThe main purpose of this project is to build something exceptional and sustainable as well. The proposed COMPACT MODULE of the recycled containers will reduce the cost and also the construction time. These modules can be made at the factory far from the locality and the move to the spot and plugin where it needs, it that simple.
14Honorable MentionWARTA CAMP - container student housingThe student housing, designed near the Warta riverfront, redefines what a student housing can be and responds to the global problem of waste.
5Editor's ChoiceMOBILE TREEHOUSEStudent accommodation laid out on a structural grid using 15 shipping containers. Designed for city coastal living, and for students who have an interest in water sports activities. The grid can be transported to denser, urban landscapes and expanded through the years.
5URBAN CENTERThe project is designed to house young students who are passing through the city, so we think of all the necessary comforts for them through shipping containers.
73Student housing from containersThe main focus for us was the most efficient use of free spaces. We came to the solution of this problem due to the special location of the containers relative to each other. Various options for the use of additional space were also considered.
54TETRIS CITYOur idea is to create a student camp which brings to life the legendary game Tetris into real three-dimensional volumes. For the realization of the idea we offer 5 variants of modules composed of 15 containers in the shapes of Tetris figures: T, S (Z), O, I, L (J). They can be placed on land in different ways.
227Honorable MentionGeConThis project has employed generative design method to generate thousands of alternatives for the dormitory building in a short time and to take advantage of computational design methods to approach the most efficient way to organize the container modules for the purpose of enhancing quality of life on the basis of maximum area and received direct sunlight.
