2Tessellate Tessellate is a dynamic bridge, it offers multiple ways of experiencing the course. Biking is exhibited through material transparency, seatings for contemplation, and fluidity of the bikeway. Tesselate allows users to experiment with a different kind of link between shores and redefine the existing concepts.
7Honorable MentionMOBILITY ³Our bridge has two levels…the upper level serving the bicycles or pedestrians and the lower level where the harbor boats circulate. So the project is a station where you can drink coffee, see an exhibition while waiting for your boat or waiting to have your bike repaired. A place where one can have information about the city before taking a tour.
5"The City Link" Tordenskjoldsgade København BridgeThe concept of the new drawbridge is based on maximum usage comfort and tactful integration into the existing urban environment. The main opening span is 60 m long; side spans are 20 m long each. The central part is proposed as two identical L-shaped spans with built-in counterweights.
15the city linkIn this bridge, old and new architecture are combined So that the bridge façade is a symbol of traditional and old architecture And in the bridge plan of new architecture and new styles It is patterned like a wave of water
19"G" PEDESTRIAN & BICYCLE BRIDGEThe Bridge is divided into three separate paths: on the upper-level A and B paths for bicycles which are accessible by means of ramps - and a pedestrian path (path C) on a lower level accessible by elevator. This allows pedestrians - who simply want to cross the bridge quickly - do so on the lower level, and allow cyclists to enjoy the upper levels
2The city link The basic idea of out bridge crossing is the single span structure without intermediate piers in the water. The bridge should be placed on abutments only but the span must be bascule type for navigation purposes with a width of 25 meters long.
7URBAN STITCH (The City Link)A bridge designed to be more than a passage from one side of the river to the other. This city link acts as an urban stitch by pulling together both sides of the divide and creating a public space.
75Honorable MentionIceberg BridgeThe great glaciers of our world in Greenland and Antarctica are slowly disappearing. Enormous parts of Netherlands, Florida and other lowlands are predicted to be flooded by 2050. The bridge is a constant reminder of the world which we will loose if we don't change. It could begin with the choice of cycling over driving.
1BumpebroenBumpebroen is the contraction -in danish- of bumps and bridge. With its playful shapes, bumpy bridge invites cyclists, pedestrians and all users to explore and interact with it while transfering to one side to the other of the harbor. The bridge is also the place to be as a tourist to get inspired by the bicycle way of life.
113Honorable MentionTHE BRANCH BRIDGEThe design of the project is inspired by the clash of the Baltic Sea and the North Sea on top of Skagen, Grenen, which translates to ¨the branch¨ due to its long and narrow appearance; a phenomenon that is not seen in many parts of the world and that is possible to observe in Denmark.
