Isolation between the city and its inhabits exists due to the side effects of fast development. The scaffold arcade installation functions as vertical urban furniture to elevate people?s experience in public, and to re-connect them with the physical environment.
7Institutional Excellence AwardQuasar ForestOur design challenges the idea of relativity; the intricate shapes of the inner spaces have behind a simple concept: the pipe. This element acts as circulation, air, water and electricity providers as well as a link between the introvert inside and the cityscape outside.
76Runner-up‘CORAL’ization Project explores the possible relationship between architecture and coral reefs. The concept is to transform a massive metal structure into a natural formation resembling a rock or cave right in the middle of the sea.
