This struck me first when reviewing how the adjacent community has appropriated the abandoned train route to commune with nature and neighbors in ways that are informal, organic, creative, and productive.
14Urban RenewalReviving old railway lines: the concept focuses on opening up the sunken railway space for the public. The idea of La Recyclerie café is used as the basic function of the site. Urban farming, fish farming and workshop along with spaces like reading rooms and cafés makes the public participation possible.
23Serpentine Project – is inspired with phrase, “path of life”. Which not always is straight and easy but full of fluctuations, rises and falls. Unpredictable. Adaptable. Our main part of project is parametric installation in shape of serpentine. It’s space which brings freedom, hope and happiness. Yellow we associate with freshness, positive energy and optimism.
7Jury CommendationV-Park, Abandoned Railway RenovationA railway built in 1952 in the center of my hometowen will be moved outside the city,and reduce the adverse impact of the railway on the city. When the railway is removed, there will be a vacant area to be updated in the city center.I made a proposal to use this space and the special landform to improve the infrastructure and add vitality of thiscity.
