The home is to a be a place of peace and happiness ,an escape from the chaotic world outside. A space designed to keep the family together and make staying at home at more enjoyable for a family of six members.

75Institutional Excellence AwardFlower of the DesertChoosing arid climate and Following Biomimetic design, we came to across a plant that lives in the Namibia desert, Welwitschia which is extremely sustainable in Arid areas and lives about 1000 to 1500 years. The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.

In the project, we paid special attention to the human-nature relationship and its impact on human body. The story of Jack and the Magic Beans was an important aspect, as we felt extremely inspired with the young hero's climbing over the plant and the way he experienced the space.
