24The CisternThe Cistern is an ecosystem proposal that takes the cultural center underground against the harsh conditions of the desert. It collects water, preserves it and gives it back to nature for life. Local people and tourists come together and become a part of this ecosystem and contribute to sustainability.
22Honorable MentionThe Sprout" A Miracle in the Moroccan Desert " This is a phrase used to refer to a type of tree that originated in Morocco, the only place in the world and Moroccans value this tree as the national tree or the tree of life.
23WinnerECHOThis project reflect and advocate the potential future of Marrakesh while celebrating Moroccan culture. Through the use of materials, technology, and landscaping, the project primarily explores and attempts to address; breaking the depletion of the oasis and its habitat, combating desertification, evolving labor skills and improving livelihood opportunities.
