The whole scheme is a relationship of aggregation and dispersion. Design highlights: the road from south to north, from divergence and convergence, free access from all sides, meaning a wide gathering of people, gathered here.
3Repair the crack in Syria's memoryThe plan aims to repair the cracks in Syria's memory caused by the war, including ?the Corridor of Memory Crack?(along the destructed important buildings around Aleppo Citadel) and ?The Memorial Hall of War and History? (the end of 'corridor').

Dreams that create a temporary structure that will be built up over time along with the opportunities and needs of local people, simultaneously with the reconstruction of the city. 12Future of memoryThe most significant element of design is the new building line which creates a square around citadel. This boundary line indicates upcoming quarters to fill with new buildings where new functions can be placed. The project recreates destroyed functions in the places of bomb craters by redesigning them showing particular essence of each buildings.
7Bab Al-Atlal: Remembering Through DebrisBab Al-Atlal is a memorial landscape, a public space on the footprint of the former Grand Serail of Aleppo. We argue against the reconstruction of the Serail, as an act to remember the immeasurable loss of life, property, and social and cultural capital in Aleppo and Syria at large. In this proposal, debris from destruction is the locus of collective memory.

64Let's assemble our ruins to make memories.Syria is a land of different cultures and people, and this is a great gift, but sometimes great things can lead to great nothingness. Here the war was born in a state of diversity and non-unity. Certainly, in post-war situation the best way is to develop public spaces like plazas in the cities and, most importantly, in the historic downtown of Aleppo.
15The cross pointThe Cross Point reflects a socio-physical condition of Aleppo. It connects eastern and western parts through the co-habitation between nature and human and between ruins and generative architecture. The design adopted healthcare and rehabilitation activities. It is interpreting the evolution and declination of the Grand serial through plans and facades.
