We take the approach of modularization design: the entire habitat is composed of basic units - the towers, the shape and functions of which are inspired from the aerial roots of banyan and respiratory roots of metasequoia.

24The CisternThe Cistern is an ecosystem proposal that takes the cultural center underground against the harsh conditions of the desert. It collects water, preserves it and gives it back to nature for life. Local people and tourists come together and become a part of this ecosystem and contribute to sustainability.

12Shade for CultureShade for Culture is a concept of cultural centre fourty kilometers away from city of Marrakech. The idea of the design was to connect a typical dwelling in the desert - tent, the self-shading effect of a cactus and windcatcher towers. The design is made of ecological and sustainable materials and uses one of the oldest construction methods - rammed earth.
