3Traditional techniques in contemporary culturesThe thesis intents to study the alternative future of built forms by using traditional elements and techniques by aiding the current building techniques in semi-arid & arid regions. Since the world is progressing rapidly we're borrowing images, techniques that don't respond to our context; this creates a cultural disconnect and increases energy consumption.
6Organizer's Choice AwardBEATThe proposal imitates the waves of music coming from the ocean to the beach. Visitors can discover what a building means to them as an individual through experiencing a space since there is no meaning to a building without anybody experiencing it. Every corner contains unique architecture filled with exciting exhibition pieces.
5Between Water & TimeTime is a mirror and water is its reflection. Between Water & Time is a park that uses the history of the site that still resonates with its culture, unraveling water lines create an urban public landscape that confronts the epochs to come while celebrating the past, from scientific to mythological, the easily forgotten to that which never truly washes away.
22Connected VesselsThis project explores the idea of water systems connecting through a network of vessels. Water moves through the site in an open loop; it is collected and directed into a cleansing system on site which purifies it on one side and releases it on the other. Through this process the water maintains its equilibrium and provides a lively environment.
208People's Choice AwardWaterCell ParkWaterCell Park comes as a regenerative intervention over one of Istanbul's most iconic neighbourhoods, the site being opened towards the sea, with a wide panoramic view towards two continents. The new proposal would offer an improved usage of space, with many benefits for the whole city through its water recycling features, and varied spaces to be explored.

14Ocean HeartWe use the "4R" design concept for recycle, reuse, renew and recognize of water. Solar still can treat the seawater and treated water can be used as landscape water and irrigation and then re-enter the sea after use, which shows the water recycle.The three waterscape with swirling, still water and sculpture that expresses a new recognise of water.
7Water dropA drop of fresh water in the ocean represents the world's shortage of drinking water. The monument consists of a pedestrian ramp under a canopy of glass. Inside it is an oasis that was created thanks to fresh water. Waterfalls and a fountain emphasize this.
35Network installationMy installation is a kinetic artistic network installation formed by colorful fishing nets with volumes and shapes that seek to visually trap zombie urban citizens and seduce them with their sensual forms. My installation invites people to create their own image script in their interaction with the installation.
9(Re)embodimentDNA of a deceased person is introdused into a plant cell from which body grows. This applies to any plants: trees, flowers, herbs. Plant DNA is easier to carry mutations and changes in the genome. It is one of our reasons to create “green cemetery”. Plants continue life of the decreased.
11Runner-upAnother Way to AccompanyWe apply yarn structure to our design as an innovation. Through this design, we want to convey that : the death of our loved ones doesn't mean the end. They become the air we breathe, the scenery in our eyes, the shade in summer, the fragrant smell and the eternal power in our hearts. Don't be so sad. Their departure is just another way to stay with us.
