How to Access Additional Resources for Your UNI Competition?

Where a competition's additional resources live, who can open them, and what to do when the link is not there.

Some competitions publish a folder of extra material alongside the brief: CAD files, 3D files, site or product images, research notes. It is called Additional Resources and it sits on the competition page itself.

Not every competition has one. Many publish everything you need in the brief instead.

Who can open it

You need to be signed in, and one of the following:

Signed-out visitors cannot open it. If you are on the Weekly plan and not registered for the competition, the item shows but stays greyed out.

Open the resources from the competition page

  1. Open the competition page at uni.xyz/competitions/{competition-slug}.
  2. Look for Additional Resources in the sidebar. On a phone it appears in the tab list instead.

The competition sidebar showing Rules and Guidelines above Additional Resources, each opening in a new tab 3. Click it. The organiser's folder opens in a new tab.

If Additional Resources is greyed out, you are signed in but not yet eligible. Register for the competition, or upgrade past the Weekly plan.

If Additional Resources is not on the page at all, that competition has no extra material beyond the brief. There is nothing missing.

Open the resources from your entry

Once you are registered, there is a shortcut:

  1. Open My Competitions from the account menu in the navbar.
  2. Find the entry card for that competition.
  3. Click Resources on the card.

The Resources button only appears when the competition has resources and you are eligible to open them.

Your registration confirmation email also carries the resources link when the competition has one.

If there are no additional resources

The competition brief is the complete requirement in that case. You can read it on the competition page and save a copy with Print Brief from the page menu, which needs no registration or membership.
