Your project is not missing. The page at uni.xyz/projects is the Editorial feed, and it carries only the projects the UNI team has picked out. Publishing does not put your work there. The feed that holds every published project is All Projects, one item down in the Explore list in the sidebar, and that is where you should look for your own work.
The four project feeds hold four different sets
- Editorial is the page you land on. It shows only projects flagged as editorial by the UNI team. The header on the page reads "Editorial Projects".
- All Projects shows every published, public project on UNI. This is the complete feed.
- Trending is ordered by how many visits a project received in the last 30 days.
- Award Winning lists projects that carry a competition trophy.
All four are in the Explore section of the sidebar, along with Atlas.
Editorial is a staff decision, not a setting
Nothing in the builder marks a project as editorial. The flag can only be set by the UNI team, so there is no toggle to find, no field you have left blank, and no length or quality threshold that unlocks it. Work is picked from what is already published.
Check All Projects before assuming something went wrong
Open All Projects and look for your work there. If it is present, publishing worked and the project is public.
If it is missing from All Projects too, the cause is one of these:
- The project is still a draft. See How to create and publish a project.
- The project is private. See Private projects and exactly who can still see one.
- The project was deleted. See Recovering a deleted project.
Award Winning does not list every trophy
The Award Winning feed is built from the first 500 trophy-carrying projects it finds, and it does not choose them by date or by award. A project with a trophy can be absent from that page while the trophy itself is perfectly real. Read your awards from the project page and from your entry instead. The filters mostly reach every feed now
The filter panel is the same on all four feeds.
- Discipline, country, organization and author all work on Editorial, All Projects, Award Winning and Trending. On Award Winning they narrow the 500 projects that page holds rather than every trophy on UNI. On Trending they narrow the feed itself before the ranking is built, not just the page you were handed.
- The published-on date works on every feed. The filter reads the single word the interface sends ('today', 'week', 'month', 'year') as well as a pair of dates, so the chip narrows the feed you are looking at, and it works on Projects search too.
If a filter appears to do nothing, check whether it's the date chip, or use Projects search, where filtering is built for search rather than for a feed.
The feed is cached for five minutes
Editorial responses are held for five minutes on the server, and your browser tab keeps its own copy for two minutes. A change made in that window will not show up straight away.
