The panel headed Job card on the right of the UNIfy chat is a record of what the assistant is doing and what it found. It has two tabs. Activity is the work. Results is the last set of things a search returned. The panel switches itself to Results the moment a search produces projects, which is why it seems to move on its own.
Activity is grouped by state
Activity shows up to four sections, and only the ones that apply:
- Active Plan, when the assistant has proposed a numbered plan. This is where the Approve and Cancel buttons live. See plans the assistant proposes.
- Running, for work happening right now, with an elapsed timer.
- Pending Approval, for an action waiting on your Allow or Deny. See when the assistant asks before acting.
- Completed (n), everything that has finished this conversation, whether it succeeded or failed.
Before the assistant has done anything the panel reads "Agent activity will appear here as you chat". That is the normal state of a conversation that has only involved writing, not doing.
Cards in Completed are clickable. Select one that returned a list and the panel jumps back to Results and repopulates it with that search, so an earlier search in a long conversation is one click away rather than something you have to run again.
The number on the Results tab is not the number of matches
The badge on the Results tab counts the result cards currently loaded in the panel, and nothing else. Inside the panel, the line above the cards reads either Showing 12 of 400 results or Found 12 results. Those are two different numbers, and the badge is always the first one.
So a badge reading 12 on a search with hundreds of matches is not a fault and is not the assistant failing to find things. It is the size of the batch you were handed. The See all results link at the bottom of the panel opens the full search on the main site, which is where the whole set lives.
Two more things about the badge catch people out:
- It only appears for project results. A search that returned journals, publications, competitions, members or inspiration images fills the Results tab normally but leaves the tab unnumbered.
- It does not clear when the conversation moves on. It reflects whatever is loaded in Results, so it keeps showing the last search until a new one replaces it.
The two small icons beside the tabs
The phone and monitor icons switch how the result cards are drawn: compact, which fits more on screen, and expanded, which shows larger covers. Neither changes what was found or how many were loaded.
