Five things stop and wait for you: editing a project, following or unfollowing someone, adding or removing a bookmark, generating a video, and sending a competition launch request to the UNI team. Each one puts a card in the chat carrying Allow and Deny, and nothing runs until you press one of them. Everything else the UNIfy agent does, it does without asking.
The dividing line is not how important the action feels to you. It is whether the action spends money or changes something other people can see, and whether undoing it would mean going and finding it by hand.

Read the video card closely before you allow it. It prints the exact number of credits the run will cost, because video is charged by the second.
Three things run first and show you afterwards
Creating a project, creating a publication and generating an image do not wait. A card still appears for each one, but it carries no buttons: it reads Running subagent while the work happens, and the result arrives underneath it.
That is deliberate rather than an oversight. A new project and a new publication are both made as private drafts, so nothing reaches an audience until you publish it yourself. Generating an image draws on your free daily allowance first and only reaches your credits once that allowance is gone, which is covered in renders in chat are free each day, the tool pages are not.
Everything else runs silently
Searching projects, competitions, members, journals, publications and inspirations; reading your own profile, projects and entries; checking your membership and what it gives you; diagnosing a failed login or a blocked publish; reading a file you attached; writing a document; issuing your certificates; and opening a conversation with the UNI team all run with no card at all. None of them changes anything another member can see.
A card you leave alone becomes a refusal
If you do not answer within two minutes, the request is treated as a Deny and the assistant is told the action was rejected. Nothing is left half done. Asking again starts a fresh card. If you stepped away from your screen and came back to find the assistant apologising for not doing something, that is what happened.
Deny is safe. The action does not run, the assistant is told you declined, and the conversation carries on from there. Use it whenever a card names the wrong project or the wrong person.
Approving a plan approves every step inside it
When a request needs several actions in sequence, the assistant proposes a plan instead: one card listing the numbered steps, with Approve and Cancel. Approving runs the whole list in order, and the steps inside it do not ask again, including steps that would have asked for themselves. So read the steps before you approve, and press Cancel if one of them is not what you meant.
