The UNIfy assistant will do at most ten rounds of work in reply to one message. If your request needs more than that, it stops where it got to, and it stops quietly: there is no error, no warning, and no note explaining that it ran out of room. Send a follow-up message asking it to carry on. It picks up from where it stopped.
This is a ceiling on the assistant, not a fault with your account, and reaching it does not spend anything extra.
What one round is
A round is one turn of thinking followed by whatever actions that thinking calls for. It is not one action. The assistant can run several actions inside a single round, so ten rounds is often a great deal more than ten things done.
What burns rounds is depth, not breadth: search, then read what came back, then search again based on it, then act. Each of those is a round because each one has to see the previous result before it can decide.
What it looks like when you hit it
The reply ends normally. There is no truncation marker. The Activity tab in the Job card panel shows the actions that did run, all of them completed, and then nothing more. The tell is that the assistant described a piece of work and the last part of it is missing from Activity.
Work already done is done and is not undone. Anything created, edited or generated in those ten rounds stays.
What to do
- Ask it to continue. "Carry on from where you stopped" works, because the conversation is still in front of it.
- Split the request. Two messages of five steps each land more reliably than one message of ten.
- Name the specific thing. "Search for X, then add the top result to my collection" spends fewer rounds than "sort out my collection", because the second one has to go and look before it can decide anything.
Keep in mind that a follow-up is a new message and the assistant reads a limited window of the conversation behind it, not the whole thing. If the earlier context matters, restate the important part rather than assuming it is still in view. See the assistant reads the last ten exchanges of a chat.
When it is not this
A reply that stops mid sentence, or nothing appearing at all, is a different problem: that is the connection, not the ten round ceiling. See when the assistant stops answering.
An action that never happened because a card was waiting on your Allow and timed out is a third thing again, covered in when the assistant asks before acting.
