Nathalie Rozencwajg is the founder of NAME Architecture, and an internationally-acclaimed award-winning architect. Nathalie began her career working for a number of internationally renowned practices on projects in London, Beijing, Athens and Mecca. She went on to co-found RARE architecture, where she was a Director for 12 years, responsible for a portfolio of award-winning projects. Her clients have included Club Med, Accor and Unlisted Collection, British Airways, Land Securities and the Berkeley Group. She has gained a reputation for her collaborative approach and for creating iconic projects which breathe new life into historic buildings and in conservation areas. Nathalie graduated from the AA school of architecture in London in 2001 and maintains close ties with the school, where she was a Unit Master between 2004 and 2016. Nathalie is a regular contributor to architecture and design journals, speaking and lecturing to a wide range of international audiences. She was shortlisted for the Architect Journal’s Emerging Woman Architect of the Year and identified by The Guardian newspaper as one of its ‘10 Women Architects to watch’.

(Harvard University) Assistant Professor Practice Dal University Cristina Verissimo graduated in Architecture at the Faculdade de Arquitectura (FA-UTL) and has a MArchII Degree from GSD Harvard University. She is an Assistant Professor of Practice at DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY, FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING since 2012. She taught architectural design studio at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon from 2002-2012. She has been invited as critic and lecturer to numerous international universities and countries such as: Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Santiago, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada, Cornell University in Ithaca and NY, USA; Arlington University, Texas, USA; Architectural University of Buenos Aires, Argentina; BAC in Boston (2002), at Hong Kong Chinese University, Faculty of Architecture of Lisbon amongst others. She also has an active professional practice CVDB Arquitectos with her long partner Diogo Burnay. The practice has been award with international architectural prices. She now started her Ph.D. where she planned to push further other possible uses of Cork material in architecture.

Shih-Fu Peng is an architect and co-founder of heneghan peng architects, a practice working with landscape, urban planning and architecture with offices in Dublin and Berlin. Shih-Fu was born in New York and has lived in UK, Hawaii, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan and Ireland. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University.
