UNI Design Awards

UNI Design Awards has been created to recognize, honour and celebrate outstanding product and industrial designs that represent the highest level of creative originality and design excellence. We are inviting product designers and industrial designers across the globe to submit their entries which will be judged for design innovation, technical advancements, cost and value, environmental responsibility, aesthetics, need and usage.

We will acknowledge those outstanding designs and will promote them at a global scale through our online platform, media partners, social channels, and also in the form of an annual book presenting the best designs across the globe.

With the benchmarks set by this previous year, we expect projects to have the potential to evoke questions, ideas and debates about the present and future of the architectural community.  

UNI Design Awards seeks to find and showcase the best research, built and unbuilt projects in architecture, design and related fields. The awards strive to encompass all architecture and design disciplines under a carefully curated umbrella for students, young architects/designers and professionals.

Furniture Award Categories

The Boun Furniture Design Awards will be awarding two awards (1 Citation, 1 Special Mention) on the below-mentioned categories. with the people’s choice category winner.

1. Residential (overall)

3. Commercial (retail
4. Hospitality (hotels etc)
5. Leisure (Restaurants, Cafe, etc.)
6. Leisure (Spa, Resorts, Retreat)
7. Transit (Airport, Stations, Metro, etc.)
8. Cultural ((Museum, Auditoriums, etc.)

1250$ + 1250$ - For two people’s choice winner based on the number of discussions + appreciations on the project.

Eligibility 

• Participants from all geographical regions are eligible. Open to participants of all backgrounds, including design students and professionals.
• Participation is on an individual basis only. Organizations/studios may participate however, certificates/awards will be issued to a single contact person registering for the award.
• Entries must be original works of the entrant, who will be recognised as the sole designer of the said entries throughout the course of the competition. You can enter more than one indoor furniture entry in the competition, however, the entry has to be submitted separately. Only designs conceptualized/created/built after 2014 are eligible.
• Entries that infringe, breach, prejudice or violate the property, interests or rights (including but not limited to contractual rights, user rights, copyright, design rights and all other proprietary and intellectual property rights) of any third party will be disqualified. Participants shall be liable for claims by such third parties resulting from the infringement.
• The Organiser shall not be held responsible for any infringement.
