International Architecture and Design Awards
Overview
Design awards to showcase the best in architecture and design
The annual A-Z awards by UNI is a global architectural platform that recognizes design excellence. The laureates of these awards will get recognition, credibility and benefits through UNI’s extensive reward kit and international coverage.
The award programme aims to cover all basic frameworks in architecture and to generate a dialogue in existing and upcoming trends within them. UNI Design Awards seek to celebrate innovation in some of the most primary architectural typologies. The programme will highlight hidden gems from the past four years.

The need to manage the economy and well-being of the society basic typologies hosting commerce and finance have served for years. With the expansion and development of our needs, today commercial architecture is one of the most important frameworks to fulfil the demands of the ever-increasing population.
Commercial architecture has the power to transform territories which can have both negative as well as a positive impact on a societal level, including exploitation of resources, pollution and a cycle of waste. The need for architecture to break through the existing problems is also necessary. Due to recent innovations in sustainable methodology and shifting work as well as consumer culture, UNI Design awards ’21 seeks to find commercial architectural projects that are retrofitting new trends or evolving into different typological dimensions to serve the present and the future.
With extraordinary projects received on the 1st edition, we can’t wait to see what lies in store for the next. With the benchmarks set by the previous year, we expect projects to have the potential to evoke questions, ideas and debates about the present and future of the architectural community.
