International Architecture and Design Awards
Overview
Design awards to showcase the best in architecture and design
The annual A-Z awards by UNI is a global architectural platform that recognizes design excellence. The laureates of these awards will get recognition, credibility and benefits through UNI’s extensive reward kit and international coverage.
The award programme aims to cover all basic frameworks in architecture and to generate a dialogue in existing and upcoming trends within them. UNI Design Awards seek to celebrate innovation in some of the most primary architectural typologies. The programme will highlight hidden gems from the past four years.

The foundations of built spaces began with shelter and habitation, this basic understanding to have a resilient structure for protection and living developed into a wider culture of housing typologies. It is where careful design, functionality and aesthetics have been experimented with, forming multifunctional innovative solutions for quality living.
Being people’s first contact to well-crafted spaces, housing is the most recognized and valued typology among the masses. Today, it acts as a merging ground between habitation, diverse communities and their activities. In today’s standardized stereotypes, it seeks to highlight the best creative and practical solutions to celebrate the most prevalent and important typology of the past, present and future.
With extraordinary projects received on the 1st edition, we can’t wait to see what lies in store for the next. With the benchmarks set by the previous year, we expect projects to have the potential to evoke questions, ideas and debates about the present and future of the architectural community.
