Bruno Campos

Bruno Campos is an Architect graduated at UFMG (Brazil, 1994), with M.A at the Architectural Association School – AA (London, 1998). He has collaborated with various architects in Brazil and New York before establishing his own practice in 2001 (BCMF Arquitetos), associated to Marcelo Fontes and Silvio Todeschi. Among his main projects, the Deodoro Sports Complex (National Shooting, Equestrian, Field Hockey and Modern Pentathlon venues), built for the Rio 2007 Pan American Games, has received high international praise; triggering unique work opportunities in the sports field the practice. In 2009 BCMF Arquitetos was selected by the Brazilian Organizing Committee to help develop the official master plan for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Candidature, when Rio was competing against Chicago, Madrid, and Tokyo. In 2010-2014 the studio was responsible for the renovation of the legendary Mineirão Stadium, in Belo Horizonte, one of the selected venues for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the first stadium to receive LEED Platinum certification. BCMF is the first Brazilian architectural practice to participate in the planning of all three mega-events and was listed by FAST COMPANY as one of the top ten most innovative companies in South America. BCMF's work has been widely exhibited and published in Brazil and abroad, being acknowledged as one of the leading practices of the new generation of Brazilian architects.
Sahel AlHiyari
Principal Architect, Sahel AlHiyari Architects, Jordan
Sahel Al Hiyari is the owner and principal architect at Sahel Al Hiyari Architects. He holds Bachelor Degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design, and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. He carried out post-graduate work at School of Architecture at University of Venice, where he also taught from 1993-1995. In addition, his teaching activities include design studios “Arch Lab” organized by Centre for the Study of the Built Environment (CSBE) in collaboration with Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2002 and 2004, as well as an option studio at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design (fall 2010), and a vertical design studio at American University of Beirut (fall 2011). He has lectured at Columbia University, Physical Development Research Centre in Iran, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Harvard University, American University of Beirut and ETH Zurich. His work has been published internationally, as well as exhibited in Jordan at “Khalid Shoman Foundation” and in New York at “Center of Architecture”. In 2002, Al Hiyari was chosen as the first architect to receive the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative, according to which he has been a protégé of architect Álvaro Siza of Portugal. He has served as a reviewer and a member of the Master Jury for Aga Khan Award for Architecture. Additionally, he is a painter and has exhibited in Jordan, Lebanon and Italy.
Mohammed Adib
Chief Design Officer, Dewan Architects, United Arab Emirates
Mohammed Adib completed his Bachelor’s Degree at the AA School of Architecture in 1988 and post graduate studies in Interior Architecture, Barcelona 1990. A project leader with over 27 years’ experience in the international markets, including the Middle East, UK, Spain and Central Asia. He has recently been appointed as “Chief Design Officer” in Dewan and has been working very closely with the department heads and directors to ensure that the processes, quality, and “brand” of the firm are aligned with its growth and development.
Dimitar Gamizov
Dipl.-Ing, Smartvoll, Austria
Dimitar Gamizov is an architect based in Vienna, Austria. He is part of the smartvoll team since 2015. He studied architecture at the Technical University in Vienna and graduated in 2019. When he is not in the office, Dimtar spends time with his camera in the city, but he also loves watching the games of his favorite football team Juventus.
