InsideOut School: Earth prototype in Ghana

InsideOut is a school prototype built in Yeboahkrom, a rural village in Ghana where the wind had destroyed the only school of the area. This non-profit project, designed by Francesca Vittorini & Andrea Tabocchini, was constructed in 60 days with just 12 000 euro, together with the local population and volunteers from 20 different countries.

MORPHLUID - A Solar Responsive System

The research primarily deals with passive cooling systems titled Morphluid - which respond to climatic to provide the user with an optimum habitable environment. The success of this prototype would effectively reduce the usage of artificial cooling which not only consumes absurd quantities of electricity but also burdens the planet with the carbon footprint.

Man, Material and Manifestation - Reconstructing Majhi Gaun, Nepal. Earthquake Resistant Non-Engineered Houses.

Earthquake that occurred on 25th April 2015 in Nepal. This resulted in about 8 lakh people living without a roof over their heads. Today the situation remains unchanged. The intention is to demonstrate reconstruction of MajhiGaun with the help of local people, available appropriate material and earthquake resistant techniques of non-engineered houses.

The Project is in the north portion of the Bela Vista neighborhood (S?o Paulo, Brazil) and acts both in the urban and architectural scale. Treating its symptoms through a few strategic interventions, it aims to recover this degraded "urban organism" entirely, hence the name Recovering Through Incision.
