If you have been named to a competition's jury and your evaluation dashboard shows nothing, you have not done anything wrong and there is nothing wrong with your browser. Signing out, clearing your cache or trying another device will not change it. Entries reach a juror through one specific assignment, and until that assignment is made there is nothing for the dashboard to show. The fix is one request to the competition organizer, and it is written out below.
Being on the jury panel and being assigned to a round are two different things
A competition's Jury section lists the panel: the people credited as jurors on the competition page and on their profiles. Entries are handed out separately, through an evaluation round inside the competition's evaluation chamber, and only jurors attached to that round can open or score anything. Being named on the panel is what establishes who you are to the competition. Being added to the round is what opens the entries.
How to tell that this is what happened to you
Two signs point to it:
- Your Evaluations page reads "You are not assigned as a juror for any competitions yet. When you are added as a juror, your evaluation assignments will appear here."
- The Open the panel link in your jury email, or the same link from the notification bell, lands on an error page reading "Evaluation chamber not found or access denied".
You may also find that Evaluations is missing from your profile sidebar. That entry appears once you have at least one live assignment. If you open the page by its address you may see a single card titled Demo: Architecture Design Challenge. That is a practice chamber open to anyone, put there so jurors can try the scoring interface. It is not your competition, and its presence does not mean your competition failed to load.
What to ask for
Ask UNI support to add you to the evaluation round, in those words. That is the one action that opens the panel. It is not something you can do from your own account, and it is not something the competition organizer can do either: naming you on the jury panel is the part they control, and the round assignment is made by the UNI team.
A message that works:
I am on the jury panel for [competition name], but my evaluation dashboard is empty and the panel link returns "access denied". Could you add me to the evaluation round for this competition so the entries open for me? The email on my UNI account is [your email].
Include the email address on your UNI account. The assignment is made against a specific account, so the organizer needs to know which one is yours. If you have no direct line to the organizer, contacting competition organizers covers how to reach them and the UNI team.
If the jury deadline is near, say so in the same message. Scoring closes at the end of the evaluation round, and after that the panel returns "The evaluation round has ended. Scoring is no longer allowed." Flagging the date early gives the organizer the chance to extend it.
Once you have been added
Reload the page. The competition appears on your Evaluations page, and the panel link in your email works from then on. You do not need to sign out and back in, and you do not need a new invitation.
You then score each entry against the competition's named criteria, each with its own minimum and maximum. How jury evaluation and results work covers what happens to those scores afterwards.
