Down to rabbit.... tunnel !
Just one step and you can find yourself in other reality.
FROM THE DETAIL TO THE WHOLE
The process of creating the concept took a really long time. Above all, the challenge was the varied terrain, which often did not harmonize with the ideas that emerged. Each successive dash, however, pointed toward a large open atrium that still made me think of a rabbit hole. And that was the starting point that really sculpted the final form.
DOWN THE RABBIT. . TUNNEL
Another problem was the location of the main entrance so that it was not so obvious, visible at first glance from the street. At first, there were wide stairs going down into the area, but they created a problem of access for the disabled - a separate entrance was out of the question, as the facility was to be accessible to everyone and everyone was to feel as if they had fallen into another world. Then a tunnel appeared cutting through the facility! To keep the tunnel from being too "straight" and long it was bent into a characteristic zigzag, which also became the inspiration for the finishing of the courtyard.
AUGMENTED REALITY
The designed object was supposed to be a clean, simple block leaning out of the ground and inviting the user inside. . and then what? Apart from small references to Alice and a lot of greenery both inside and around the building, it was decided to introduce a second reality, so as to bring out an element of magic from the designed space. Augmented reality is a modern technique that combines the real world with computer generated reality. With special glasses, users would be able to see elements that are not there in reality. Thanks to this, the interior can become magical, and when you don't feel like it anymore, all you have to do is take off the glasses - you can decide for yourself when you want to find yourself in which world. Augmented reality could not only be an element that creates a space but could also be used in organizing games or events.
