Every UNI policy lives under /policy, grouped into four sections.

General terms
- Terms of service covers the agreement between you and UNI: accounts, memberships, content ownership, and competition participation.
- Privacy policy covers what data we collect, why, and how to ask about yours.
- Cookie policy covers what the site stores in your browser.
Community
- Acceptable use policy covers what you may and may not post or do.
- Community guidelines covers the standards expected of members.
- Conduct policy covers behaviour towards other members.
The site footer's Community Guidelines link points at /policy/community/guidlines, which is misspelled. It redirects to the right page, so it works, but the address to bookmark and share is /policy/community/guidelines. That is the spelling the policy index and the sitemap use.
Business
- Payment liability covers billing, charges, and disputes.
- Sponsorship policy covers what may be promoted on UNI.
- Sponsorship terms covers the terms for sponsors.
Licensing
- Copyright policy covers infringement claims and takedowns.
- Trademark covers use of the UNI name and logo, and how to file a notice.
How memberships are actually sold
A UNI membership is a one-time purchase for a fixed term, not a subscription. You pay once, the membership runs to its end date, and it stops there. Nothing renews on its own, no card is stored for a future charge, and there is no cancel button because there is nothing scheduled to cancel. A 7.5% gateway charge is added at checkout.
If you want the membership to continue past its end date, you buy it again.
For what happens to a payment after it is made, see Refunds and cancellations.
Which document answers what
- Charged twice, or charged for something you did not buy: Payment liability, then message the team.
- Someone reposted your project: Copyright policy.
- Something using the UNI name or logo: Trademark.
- Another member behaving badly: Conduct policy.
- What we hold about you, or deleting it: Privacy policy.
