Daniel Barth

Barth holds a masters degree from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). He started working for SPINN in 2012 with founding partners James Dodson, and Leif Houck. Barth was later made partner in 2016. His work with educational buildings in northern climates has explored facilitating for a range of pedagogic strategies, as well as hybrid strategies for energy and ventilation. SPINN is a specialist studio, with an emphasis on educational architecture, academic research, and public projects. The studio offers consulting services for all phases, ranging from programming to the site follow up. SPINN is designing for ages from kindergarten to college, and is among the leading architectural practices within its niche in Norway, and has offices in Oslo, Stavanger, and Tromsø.
