I am glad that I could take part in the BookMark 2.0 competition. The main idea of ​the competition, which is helping people through architecture, is very important to me as an architecture student. Cooperation with UNI was great and I will definitely take part in the next competitions.

The process for project submission is easy, but claiming the prize seems like too much of a hassle. It should mirror the ease of submission and come automatically after winning a prize.

The competition provided a fun and interesting prompt for us to practice and exercise our design skills! It allowed us to experiment and try new ways of displaying information and drawings.

We have been looking for an ambitious and developing competition for a long time. We wanted to try something "big" and that's how we found electriCITY. The beginnings were not easy as the scale of the building turned out to be very overwhelming for such a small team. We wandered in the search for a suitable solution that would reflect the genius locci of the place, and which would go hand in hand with adjusting the vacancy in the best way for people. By trial and error, we have managed to adapt each part of the building to the needs of different users. Anyone entering the building would feel a specific vibe that would accompany them throughout their journey through this place. The huge amount of attractions inside and the possibility of resting on the roof of the building perfectly meet the needs of people, and ecological and reusing solutions such as a graffiti wall made of used building materials and green walls on chimneys meet the needs of our mother earth. The competition was a great experience for us, and we are very happy that we had a chance to take part in it.

This was the first competition I participated in and I think it helps students learn how to prepare a paper for submission, how to present the project to the jury, since we can't defend it orally as we are used to. Addressing issues that have become current problems throughout architecture is such that entices the motivation to design. Neglecting those in less fortunate situations is often the route in which architects take, and design a city for the fortunate. But a city is made up of everyone, not just a specific bracket and time frame. Architecture must grown and be resilient to economical, ecological, and social disaster or changes.

The competition really helped me think out of the box and write a creative piece of article. The brief of the competition was extremely interesting and thought-provoking.

A wide variety of competitions on different topics attracts. It is a pity that there are a small number of participants in some contests, as in contest "Baus-Stop". If I understand correctly, there were only 6 participants in this competition. Thanks for your work!

While browsing through the various architecture competitions, Challenge to design a geology museum and learning center on the uni platform caught our attention in particular. The location of iceland and the planned program convinced us to take up this challenge, which we were deeply drawn to from the very beginning. For us, this challenge is a whole new experience. This is because it analyzes and designs the surrounding environment and the context of this area without direct influence of other buildings. However, we thought it was a competition that could give freedom to our creativity and ideas. So we could choose this competition.

it is a good exposure to test out the theory of architecture in a hypothecal project

This is the second competition that I participate and win. I appreciate the opportunity of expressing my ideas on topics, such as Space Architecture, which is not so frequently seen. However, I am disappointed with the outcome as a winner. Even though I win, and I receive a certificate, there is no publicity or rewarding event. I just received a generic "congratulations" email. I wish either the jury or at least a person would communicate to discuss the ideas presented, and perhaps to provide the opportunity to network with other winners.

During the competition, I encountered many questions and problems that the UNI team helped me resolve. If they weren't there, I could not participate in this competition. I am very glad. Thanks for everything.

What we most liked about the Solarium competition was the theme, which was a public library, it gave us a lot of opportunities and possibilities to imagine the project. Other than that, the fact the project was in Oslo, a place with very extreme climatic conditions, was a big challenge for us and it made us learn about architecture in a different place in the world. There are many different types of competitions that we can choose waht we are interesting in. All the staff are helpful and always reply through email promptly.

The competition "informally" is interesting and fun, our team found it meaningful to design for some existing social issues and ease people's lives.

A major topic about housing shortage in big european cities, the competition allows students and young professionals to come up with proposals for different models which could be easily adapted to a diversity of sites. I am follwong unixyz competitions over 3 years and the organization keeps surprising me with its interesting, different, complex and wide range of architectural competitions.

What really is appealing to me is the way these competitions are so socially and culturally oriented. They can be realistic or just abstract exercises, but, regardless, they always remember us that we live in a community which we, as architects, have a big impact on.

It was good because there were so many different and interesting topics. And I was able to have fun working by guaranteeing a relatively high degree of freedom.

I liked the competition good communication with the organizer. Opportunity to show your ideas on a global scale and compete with participants from around the world. Of course, I also liked the attractive prizes that could be won.

The subject of the competition was very interesting and the experience overall was nice. Every time we had an issue and send an email we were answered by a team member of uni in a short period of time.

RailArches - Framing the Void as Common Ground is an open suggestion for how urban post-industrial voids and places can be preserved while changed. In the specific project it frames the site's existing qualities, rails and gardens with a series of open structures, inspired by the Parisian Arcade, which serves as a temporary intervention that can be altered, moved and disassembled according to the citizen's and municipality's needs.

It was our first experience with UNI and we were very satisfied with it. We were able to gain a lot more experience which we weren't able to gain from a university setting. The brief and site for the cultural center was very interesting and challenging, as we never had such site and program before.

The competition had interesting concept with very inspiring site. Uni competitions encourage student to think out of the box and broadening their horizons.

We found it an interesting challenge/competition to think about modular housing and that it is also affordable. At this moment we are doing several projects in The Netherlands about this theme and it was a nice opportunity to share our thoughts on an international platform.

Thanks to UNI.xyz, with the wide range of creative competitions they provide, we easily found the right one which suited our mindset most and tried to do our best in contributing something new to the design world. Although there were some inconveniences after the announcement of the results, we found this a very insightful experience which came to our lives because of this great platform.

First of all, thank you! It is great to have the opportunity of such a large pool of so many international competitions. It is also great to check and choose one of them. We learned so much, and it was a great experience. On the other hand, we paid our entry fee, studied for months, and waited till the last minute, but we stayed as the only entry in our competition. Compared with other competition organizations, diversity of UNI's competition is really amazing. At the same time, many competitions focus on the possibility of architecture in a specific and real context, which is very attractive to me.

UNI projects offered intriguing briefs as well as a variety of competition types. We thought that the project piqued our interest in the culture and that there were several challenging criteria and some key factors that have positively shaped our design.

They're fun and innovative, each topic makes me stop and think. The staff is also a lot more responsive than other organizations that run similar types of events.

Being our first international competition as architecture students, we found it very interesting and rewarding to live the experience of participating in a competition that allowed us to address a problem of large contemporary cities from our design perspective focused on generating innovative ideas to respond to current needs.
