About
Architect, he studied at the Architecture Faculty of Ferrara, where he graduated with honors in 2002. Since 2004 he has been a university professor, first at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara (2004-2013), then at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (2014-2016). Since 2017 he has been teaching "Basic Design" at the Interior Design department of IAAD Bologna and being a Visiting Professor at Domus Academy Milan. In 2009, after numerous experiences both in Italy and abroad, he founded the Ghisellini Architetti studio, which today has offices in Ferrara, Lecce and San Antonio TX (USA). Winner of several competitions for the realization of public and private works, all completed or in progress, the studio, exhibited at MoMA New York as part of the international exhibition "Cut'n'Paste - From Architectural Assemblage to Collage City", is awarded by Renzo Piano within the second edition of the prestigious "Renzo Piano Foundation Award", dedicated to the best under 40 Italian architects. He wins the “Dedalo Minosse” International Prize and receives the prestigious 2014 IN/ARCH Award, assigned by the National Institute of Architecture, for the best work designed by a young architect under 40. In 2021 he is involved in the Italian Pavilion at the XVII International Architecture Biennale in Venice, both as a member of the advisory board and the designers exhibited within the "Digital Architecture" event.
