Using stone from nearby sources reduces environmental impact while creating material authenticity that reflects regional character and craftsmanship traditions.The community explores stone as both structural and expressive material: from pavilions treating stone alongside wood as equal design partners, to homes wrapped in rescued sandstone, cultural centers composed of scattered stone volumes, and branded spaces where stone becomes the entire design language.
