September 2026
Comment Threads No Longer Lose Replies on Later Pages
Loading page 2+ of a comment thread could wrongly mark an already-loaded parent comment as deleted, replacing it with a fake placeholder. Threads now stay intact across pages.
Competition Dashboards Now Show All Entry Categories
Newer competitions' juror dashboards were showing an empty category breakdown even though entries were properly categorized. Category and entry-type charts now reflect all reviewed entries.
Rubric Scores Table for Jurors
Jurors can now see every entry they are judging in one sortable, leaderboard-style table, edit scores inline, and open the full evaluation view with a click — no more paging through entries one at a time to compare scores.
Profile Pages Get Consistent Spacing
Profile view, edit, certificates, dashboards, explore, and award-closure pages now share the same responsive spacing and card sizing, so layouts no longer feel inconsistent moving between sections.
Evaluation Pages Now Full-Width, Cleaner Visuals
Evaluation home and reader pages no longer waste space in large side margins on wide screens, and jury cards, avatars, and the publication viewer got a visual cleanup based on juror feedback.
Course Theatre Mode Layout Fixed
Theatre mode's curriculum card was noticeably narrower than the lesson notes and comments around it. All blocks now line up consistently in fullscreen viewing.
Fixed Duplicate Payment Confirmation Emails
Re-saving a payment record was incorrectly re-sending its confirmation email; emails now only go out once, when the payment is actually made.
Fixed Search Results Missing Journals & Broken Legacy Links
Journals were not appearing in grouped search results, and some older links were throwing server errors; both issues are now fixed.
Fixed Broken Testimonials Layout
The testimonials section on the About page had collapsed into a single very long column instead of a grid; it now displays correctly again.
Publication Evaluation Viewer Fixed
The reader toolbar (page navigation, zoom, view modes) had gone missing for jurors reviewing publications; it is back, along with sharper cover thumbnails and better spacing in the evaluation queue.
Your Jury Profile, Now on the Evaluations Dashboard
Jurors now see a profile card with their evaluation work stats right on the Evaluations dashboard, with a cleaner, more consistent look across the whole app.
Course Studio Redesigned Around What You're Allowed to Do
The course management area now shows only the tabs and actions you actually have permission for, splits courses you manage from courses you teach, and gives every course its own home page.
Gradebook: Grade Coursework and Track Weighted Marks
Instructors can now mark deliverables in bands, see what each assignment is worth, and certify a learner's final weighted course mark. Students can see what's graded and where they stand.
Deleted Members' Journals No Longer Reassigned to UNI
Removing a team member used to republish their journal entries under UNI's own byline. Their journals now stay correctly attributed instead.
Fixed Accounts Getting Stuck Mid-Signup via Social Login
A number of accounts created through social sign-in were left half set up and unable to sign in again. Those accounts have been repaired and the underlying signup bug is fixed.
Institutional Access Request Form No Longer Loses Your Input
The Institutional Access request drawer could lose what you'd typed if you navigated away and back. It now prefills with what you've already entered.
Competition Results Notification No Longer Duplicated
Entrants were sometimes notified twice about the same competition outcome. You'll now only hear it once.
Sign In to Like, Comment, and Register
Browsing without an account now shows a quick sign-in prompt when you try to like, comment, repost, quote, or register for a competition, instead of the action silently failing.
Uni.xyz Now Opens on the Feed
The homepage at uni.xyz now shows the live feed of what's happening across the platform. The previous homepage moved to /about, and /about-uni is now /story.
August 2026
Fixed Duplicate "Report Received" Emails
Reporting content no longer results in repeated "we've received your report" emails triggered by unrelated later updates to the same report.
Fixed a Bug That Could Lock You Out of Your Account
Deleting your last email address from account settings is no longer possible, closing an issue that could have permanently locked people out of sign-in and password reset.
Ask uni Can Now "See" Images on Your Pages
Ask uni's assistant can now look at the images on a page to answer questions about them, and gives more accurate answers about your own projects and where to sign out.
Previous/Next Navigation Between Spectate Chats
In Unify's spectate mode you can now move between chats with previous/next controls instead of leaving and reopening the list.
Fixed a Crash on Topic Pages
A missing value could crash topic pages before they finished loading; fixed.
Fewer Missing Avatars & Logos
Project covers, commenter avatars, and organization logos across the site now reliably show the right image or a proper fallback instead of a blank space.
Faster-Loading Publication Covers
Publication cover images are now served through uni.xyz's image optimizer, cutting load times significantly on publication pages.
Get Notified When Your Content Hits a Like Milestone
Projects, journals, and other content that cross a like milestone now trigger a celebratory notification.
New Emails: Abandoned Cart Reminders & Membership Welcome Guide
If you leave a membership or competition entry cart without checking out, you'll now get a reminder email; new members also get a welcome email explaining what their plan includes.
Courses: Lesson Access, Assignments & Grading Fixed
Signed-in members without access no longer get stuck looping between a lesson and the login page, a refused lesson explains why in place, several assignment-submission bugs are fixed, and peer review, video, and grading tools are working again.
Search Suggestions Are Back
Typing in search shows live suggestions again, and the navbar search button reliably opens the search modal.
Course Studio Tools Fully Restored
The Gradebook, Assignment Manager, and Cohort Manager for building and teaching courses are working reliably again, along with the institutional partner dashboard.
See & Manage Your Active Sessions
You can now see every device signed into your account and end any session remotely, so you can secure your account if you ever spot one you don't recognize.
Comments as Your Organization Now Credit Correctly Everywhere
Comments posted on behalf of your organization were sometimes attributed to you personally instead. They now consistently credit the organization across the platform.
Hidden Profiles No Longer Appear in Search
Profiles hidden from public view could still show up in some list and search results. They are now properly excluded everywhere on the platform.
You'll Now Be Notified About More Account Activity
Dozens of account events that used to happen silently, including deadline changes, credit expirations, security alerts, and expiring team invitations, now send you an email so you are not caught off guard.
Push Notifications Restored After a Delivery Issue
Browser push notifications had stopped reaching subscribed users due to a delivery bug. They are now working normally again for comments, shortlist alerts, and results.
Organization Manage Pages Get All / Published / Drafts Tabs
Organization admins can now filter their manage pages by All, Published, or Drafts, matching the tabs already available on personal profiles.
Apply to Enroll Through Your Institution
You can now search for your school directly on the course enrollment page. If we don't have a partnership with your institution yet, submitting opens a partnership application instead of a dead end.
Read Course Books In-App, With a Table of Contents
Course set books now open right in the browser with a table of contents, collapsible chapter groups, and a resizable reading panel, so you no longer need to download the book or leave the course to read it.
Fixed a Bug That Could Clear a Journal's Organization
A bug in the journal creation flow could silently remove the organization tag from a journal; journals now keep their organization affiliation as expected.
Fixed Sorting Competitions by Entry Fee
Sorting competition listings by entry fee no longer throws an error, so browsing and filtering competitions works reliably again.
Login Now Verifies the Email You Actually Used
Signing in with a secondary email address is now checked correctly, closing a gap where only your primary email was being verified.
Competition Deadline Reminders Now Land With Better Timing
Reminder emails for upcoming competition deadlines were fixed so they actually go out with enough overlap before the deadline, instead of sometimes missing their window.
Courses Can Now Include a Set Book
Course creators can attach a required resource, like a set book, at the course level so it shows up for every enrolled student.
Certificates and Public Pages for Beegraphy University Partners
Beegraphy university partners now get generated certificates with their own public page, plus a staff view to manage the pipeline.
Publish Journals, Projects, and Publications as Your Organization
Organization admins can now create journals, projects, and publications directly from the organization page instead of only posting as an individual.
Meet Ask uni, Your AI Assistant
A built-in chat assistant can now guide you through submitting a project, look up your own awards and prizes, and connect you to a human teammate when it cannot help.
Partially Evaluated Entries, Now One Click Away
Jurors can now jump straight to entries they have started scoring but not finished, via a new Partially Evaluated view linked right from the dashboard stat tiles alongside Fully Evaluated and Unevaluated.
Manage Publications Page Shows Real Publication Cards
Your Manage Publications dashboard now displays actual publication cards instead of placeholder boxes, matching the look of your public publication pages.
Uploaded Videos Now Play in the Jury Gallery
Videos attached to competition entries now render correctly in the jury gallery during evaluation, and the Messaging tab has been renamed to Jury Room for clarity.
