The future is information. Even in vague terms, most of us get what the picture is. Information exists about every element and every action that is ever taken in the digital age. The accumulation of this information is constantly being done to the internet. So, the internet becomes the most helpful tool in finding solutions to our everyday problems since it has access to all data that ever existed. 

Smart cities being built, rely on the Internet of things to support and direct its technological infrastructure. Sensors are part of the system and the data collected by them is stored centrally. It is accessed by planners and other officials to design and respond to people’s needs better. But when it comes to data, where do we draw the line? 

The negative eventuality of the use of this technological infrastructure is often rebuffed, against its many advantages. We need to look past this and judge the scenario objectively. The idea that is to be explored in this literary piece is how the information will shape the future cities for the better or the worse.
