Future of Cities

The number of megacities are growing across the globe. Cities are where most of us choose to live, work and interact with others. Planners would focus on creating healthier, accessible and intelligent cities. Technologies would reshape the urban landscape of the future.

The increasing migration would change the living patterns. Increasing urbanization would affect the future development of the urban environment and would raise certain unknown issues. As city populations and densities grow, so does the pressure on ageing urban infrastructures and the environment. With this increase in population, solutions to mobility, infrastructure, and housing are of utmost importance.

The competition provides an opportunity to imagine the cities of the future and how they would function.
