IADC2027, the 2nd International Aesthetic Design Competition, invites students worldwide to submit architectural and urban design projects, concepts and ideas that show how aesthetics can create better built environments. It is hosted by the Department of Architecture at Alanya University, Türkiye.
Who can enter: IADC2027 runs exclusively under the Student Category. Students enter individually or in teams of up to four. Academic instructors may take part only as supervisors or advisors; the student or student team is always the official entrant. At least one team member must be studying or hold a degree in architecture, urban design, interior architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning or a closely related discipline. Entry is open to all countries, with no age limit.
Classifications: Architecture (including interior architecture) and Urban Design.
Eligible projects: academic studio projects, graduation projects, research-based proposals, conceptual or unbuilt projects, and completed or built projects located anywhere in the world. Each project needs its own registration, fee and submission.
What to submit: a project description in English (Word file, up to 200 words), one anonymous A2 landscape poster in PDF (up to 20 MB) using the official template, and the payment receipt. Entries are evaluated anonymously by an international jury.
Registration and submission take place on the official IADC platform. Final deadline: 29 March 2027. Winners announced: 5 May 2027.
