Q: What should be the format of the submissions? A: The design idea is recommended to be composed and presented on ONE A1 (150ppi) (landscape) size format + 1 x Cover Image employing free-hand or digital presentation techniques such as doodles, sketches, diagrams, CAD drawings, 3D visualizations, model photographs etc. Minimum requisite submission are sheets/boards + Cover image containing: • Plan (Compulsory) • Key conceptual sections x 1 (Minimum) • 3D views x 4 • Cover image of 2000px x 1000px + 1 Journal article as guided in the additional resources.

Q: What should be the format of the submissions? A: The exact formatting of the sheets and the proposal document has been provided in the additional resources folder - The minimum submission requirement is 1 x Cover image + 1 x A1 Sheet (That will be printed and displayed in the DXD Exhibition)

Q: What should be the type of contents to be submitted in the sheets? A: The sheet may be composed out of AutoCAD Drawings, Three - Dimensional renders, Photographs and Sketches along with relatable text.

Q: Can the 'Journal Article' be more than 1500 words? A: 1000 to 1500 is the optimum number of words. Any proposal written in 1000 words less or more, should be fine. However, keep the word count as less on the sheet as possible.

Q: What if my proposal does not include any sustainable features? A: Any proposal without such features will still be considered, provided the reason for not including any green ideas must be well explained through the idea.

Q: Should the unit be movable across large distances or short distances? A: The distance covered by the submitted unit is upto the team’s idea. However, considering the brief states that these units are being considered to solve the issue of mass immigration, proper steps should be kept in mind regarding mobility.

Q: Should we submit the profiles of the Professionals involved? A: For previous registrants, they have to turn in their team codes to user accounts on UNI where we issue you upload passes against them. For new registrants process to register and add team remains consistent of UNI standards - You can learn more about the upload process here: https://to.uni.xyz/uploadtutorial.

Q: Is the submission to be sent by email as a soft copy? A: The mode has changed, the submission has to be uploaded on UNI as a project and linked to the upload pass issued against your registration.

Q: How many additional images per project can be submitted? A: Beyond the Cover + A1 Submission, there are no such restrictions for the number of additional images that can be submitted. Suggestively, 10 is an optimal number of images that can be adhered to.

Q: Is there a minimum number of sheets that may be submitted? A: 1 x Cover image (2000px x 1000px) in Landscape format + 1x A1 Sheet is the minimum submission requirement.
