Kashmir born, Iftikhar-mulk Chishti taught the Theory of Design at the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi of which he is also a 1975 alumnus. Convenor of Design X Design and founder of StudioiF, his activities include a practice in architecture extending to installations supplemented with theatre and film making : a subject which he pursued during a three-year period in Paris in the late seventies.

Alireza Taghaboni, a practicing architect since 2004, founded Next Office in 2009. Taghaboni is also a painter and holds a Ph.D. in Architecture. A frequent contributor to Iranian architecture and urbanism magazines and periodicals, he is a tutor and partner at the Contemporary Architects Association of Iran (CAAI), a private institute in Tehran that offers an alternative education program to formalized pedagogical frameworks of the country . Next Office, based in Tehran, aims to provide a contemporary alternative to traditional Iranian architecture, responding to the climate conditions, economic, sociopolitical, and cultural context of each project as well as the peculiarities of each project’s site. The practice’s work ranges from single-family houses to residential, commercial, and mixed-use large-scale complexes, to urban master plans. Over the past decade, the practice has won several Memar Awards, a prestigious national award for architecture in Iran held annually, making it one of the top prize-winning practices in the country . Sharifi-ha house, with its revolving rooms, adapts to a shifting lifestyle and demonstrates a critical take on building regulations and zoning by-laws. The project was shortlisted at the World Architecture Festival in 2014 and has been acknowledged internationally in professional and public media. In 2018, Taghaboni was awarded the inaugural Royal Academy Dorfman award in recognition of his talent that "represents the future of architec- ture".

Monish Kumar Siripurapu is the founder and principal architect of Ant Studio, New Delhi, which he started in 2010. He graduated from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi in 2009 and received the prestigious JN Tata scholarship in 2015 for his PG Diploma in Robotic Fabrication from Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Spain. In collaboration with his colleagues, he has won many national and international competitions for architecture and design, including the Green Design Award for Design Against The Elements (DATE), the Commercial Design award at FOAID-2018, and most recently, the competition for the renovation and development of the Imagination Centre at Dhun, Jaipur. His works have been published across well renowned architectural journals and platforms, such as World Economic Forum, Architectural Digest, ArchDaily, Inhabitat, among others. The core intent of his work is to bridge between the spheres of Art, Nature and Technology, thus the name ‘ANT STUDIO’. His endeavour is to produce simplistic, almost intuitive design solutions, and use technology, whether it is computational design, roboticsbeliever of amalgamating the natural landscape and the built environ, with the aid of technological tools. He believes that the ecological environment around us has so many divergent facets, which can be magnificently inculcated as a part of the contemporary global façade. Having set his design principles straight, Monish Siripurapu laid the foundation of the ANT Studio, to create designs that aim to not only reduce the harmful effects of the built environment on the natural aspects, but also to create a positive impact on the whole. Holistic bridging between the abiotic and biotic components is the core motto of his team. Having been published in numerous renowned publications in the world namely CNN, The Hindu, STIR World, The Week, World Architecture, Inside Outside, Archdaily, Elle Décor and many more; the architect is fond of participating in intriguing design competitions, as well. He has been an invited speaker at TEDX, UNDP India, Hyderabad Design Week, UNIDO and British Council.
