Select Buy Credits beside the Generate button on the Render, Stage, Upscale or Edit page. Five packs are offered, the credits in them never expire, and the largest pack is the cheapest per credit. One condition catches people out: checkout is refused unless you already hold an active membership, and the refusal arrives after you have chosen a pack rather than before.
The five packs

| Pack | Credits | Price | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spark | 50 | $5 | 10c |
| Surge | 300 | $20 | 6.7c |
| Blaze | 800 | $50 | 6.3c |
| Nova | 2,000 | $100 | 5c |
| Apex | 5,000 | $200 | 4c |
Why a membership comes first
A credit pack tops up a membership, it does not stand in for one. Without an active one the dialog still opens, the packs are still listed and the buttons still respond, and pressing the price returns the message that an active membership is required. A line inside the dialog says the same thing before you press anything, above the pack list.
Every paid tier already includes credits of its own: Weekly 7, Monthly 25, Semester 150, Annual 250, Studio 750, Institutional 2,500. Packs exist for the month where that allocation runs out early. See membership tiers and pricing.
How the purchase runs
- Select Buy Credits on any of the four tool pages.
- Choose a pack and select its price.
- You are moved to the ordinary UNI checkout page for that order, the same one used for memberships and competition entries.
- Pay by whichever method you normally use.
- The credits are added to your balance automatically when the payment completes. There is nothing to claim and no code to enter.
If you close the checkout page without paying, no credits are added and nothing is charged. The order stays unfinished and you can start again from Buy Credits.
If a payment went through and your balance has not moved, do not buy a second pack. Ask the UNI team with the date and the amount.
Purchased credits never expire, membership credits do
Credits from a pack have no end date. Credits that arrived with a membership run out when that membership period ends, whatever is left of them.
Spending is ordered to protect you here. Credits are always spent soonest to expire first, so your membership allocation is drawn down before a pack you bought is touched. A pack sitting in your balance is not wasted by a membership renewal, and it is still there when the membership lapses.
Two things a pack does not buy
- Video generation still needs a Semester membership or above. Credits alone do not unlock it, so a Weekly or Monthly member holding 5,000 credits still cannot generate video. See AI video generation.
- The free daily render allowance is separate. It exists only in chat with the UNIfy agent and is not affected by how many credits you hold, as covered in renders in chat are free each day.
