The Genesis of a Sanctuary

At the core of Mumbai's Carter Road lies an old house, a silent observer to the city's relentless metamorphosis. This structure, chosen by RAD co + lab, was destined to evolve from a mere dwelling to a wellness center - a beacon of peace amidst urban chaos. The project's narrative is a fascinating one, with the architects leveraging the concept of a 'palimpsest' to narrate the building's layered history. A standout feature is the staircase made from pink paloda stone, symbolizing the harmonious blend of past and present.
