ISLAND RAILWAY STATION

This thesis presents a design proposal for Shoranur junction railway station located at the heart of Kerala,India. The design aims to build a 3-sided island railway station enclosed by platforms on all three directions to be implemented on the unused triangular piece of land formed by the intersecting rail lines from the four cardinal points of the state.
