About
Nathalie Eldan is a DPLG registered architect, member of Ordre des Architectes and founding director of Paris based, Atelier NEA. Having lived between Jerusalem, Montreal, Los Angeles, Paris, Copenhagen and Tokyo naturally led her to translate multiculturalism into the spirit of her architecture practice. Nathalie Eldan's atelier operates on the entire spectrum of architecture, from building and urban strategy to ephemeral interventions, interior design and research. Atelier NEA develops projects on various scales and typologies with a focus on adaptability, sustainability, integration and economy. The studio investigates the sensitive interface between the space and the living, while challenging conventions, scales and norms. Nathalie studied Architecture and Urban planning at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts - School of Architecture in Copenhagen and at École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris la Villette, from which she holds her masters degree. With more than a decade of rich and intensive international experience, Nathalie developed multidisciplinary methodologies and innovative design processes that are specific to Atelier NEA. Every project is a unique instrument of experimentation into details, materials and narrative. Nathalie Eldan is frequently invited as guest lecturer and jury member at Architecture faculties such as ENSPVS and Paris College of Art and leading international design competitions.
