About

Eda is a researcher and computational designer with a Master’s in Architecture from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. She is passionate about using programming and algorithms to bring automation into architecture, with a focus on sustainability.Currently, Eda is developing digital tools to automate the design of sustainable, load-bearing straw bale constructions. She is also refining packing algorithms to optimize material usage, helping to reduce waste and make design processes more efficient.Alongside her research, Eda is a Teaching Assistant at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, where she helps students explore how computational design and automation can be used to create more sustainable and adaptive buildings. She finds joy in helping others discover the power of digital tools and how they can be harnessed for creative problem-solving.Eda is excited about the future of digital twins—real-time, evolving models of buildings that can make architecture more responsive and sustainable throughout its lifecycle.
