Javier Gonzalez Rivero

Javier is currently, and for the last 6 years, Partner & Managing Director of the Shanghai-based office 100 Architects. Before that, he worked 4 years in China, leading projects as Project Manager at RTA-Office (Shanghai) and ADOS - Architecture & Design on Site (Shanghai). He gained international working experience at GENETIC DESIGN in Copenhaguen, Denmark (2012), FabLab Tenerife & LPA (Lab for Planning & Architecture) in Canary Islands, Spain (2008-2012). He holds a postgraduate Master Degree in Advanced Architecture & Digital Fabrication from IaaC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia), Barcelona, Spain, specializing in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication Processes. Javier has a special curiosity in exploring the way citizens perceive and understand the public realm in urban environments, providing innovative & hyper-stimulating solutions driven by the passion of shaping the cities of tomorrow.
