Jejon Yeung

Jejon Yeung is a licensed architect in New York State, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and an accredited LEED professional. A Chinese Canadian, he obtained a Bachelor of Architectural Studies degree from Carleton University in 2004, and a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University in 2007. In 2015 he co-founded Worrell Yeung with Max Worrell in New York City. The practice is an award-winning full-service architectural firm with a diverse portfolio that includes residential, artist, public and commercial spaces. Worrell Yeung was named in AN Interior's Top 50 List in 2020, and Cultured Magazine's inaugural Young Architects 2021 List. Previously, Jejon was an integral team member at Architecture Research Office for nine years serving as Project Director completing several Knoll showrooms, as well campus planning and the construction of a new elementary school building for Riverdale Country School in Bronx, NY. At Worrell Yeung, Jejon has led the design on the adaptive reuse of a 6 story 24,000 SF masonry factory building in Brooklyn, and multiple private artist and residential projects within the last 3 years. In 2020, near the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, together with 5 other small architecture practices, Jejon helped establish Design Advocates, a platform for architects to share resources and collaborate on pro bono projects, research, and advocacy. Jejon has served on juries at Yale, Pratt, Parsons, CCNY and AN Best of Products Awards.
