Johan Tali

Johan Tali (chartered architect level 7) comes from an international background in architecture, arts and curation. Having lived in Berlin, Vienna and in Venice, he has worked in award winning architecture practices as a design architect and gained experience ranging from university building in Vienna (at Wolfgang Tschapeller ZT GmBH) to a global retail concept for Mercedes-Benz (at Graft Architects). Molumba was founded in 2017 by architects Karli Luik and Johan Tali with an ambition to make high quality contemporary architecture in Estonian context, addressing the public domain and the society via architecture competitions. Since 2017, molumba has won prizes in more than 25 open or invited architecture competitions. In practice, we are a relatively small architectural design studio with an optimal size of up to 10 highly qualified employees, we posess a capacity to run large scale projects as main contractors (Kalev National Stadium, Saue Parish Administrative Building, Hiiiumaa Sports Center) or in collaboration with project management teams and specialist planners and engineers.
