Kawar Salih is an architect, academic, and researcher working at Duhok Polytechnic University and the American University of Kurdistan. He has d MSc. Degree in Sustainable Buildings and Environment from Newcastle University, UK. He has designed numerous buildings of medium and large scale in the Kurdistan region. He also has participated in multiple conferences in Europe and the Middle East since 2016. He has several publications on sustainable urban and building design in internationally recognized journals. His research interest focused on low energy and zero-carbon buildings and BIM.
