Maciej Grelewicz

Maciej, born in 1982, studied architecture at Technical University in Lodz (Poland) and Dessau Institute of Architecture (Germany), graduating in 2008 and later working for one of the local offices. In 2010 he moved to Rotterdam to join MVRDV - during 3-years practice there he worked on several projects containing mainly housing and offices. His key project was Bałtyk office tower in Poznań (Poland) completed in 2017. It became one of the most important buildings in the city and it received several awards, including a prize for the best Polish commercial building completed in the years 2015-2020. After returning to Poland, in 2015, Maciej established his own architectural practice, specialising in bespoke single-family houses. His projects were awarded and published internationally. In 2015 he won 1st prize in an international competition ‘Design a Beautiful House’, which had attracted 662 entries. He also won the competition for a high-rise mixed-use building in Dubai.
