Martin Ostermann

Prof. Martin Ostermann studied architecture at the Technical University in Aachen, the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Architectural Association in London. He started his professional career as a senior architect at Studio Daniel Libeskind in Berlin where he was responsible for the Imperial War Museum North, the Hong Kong Media Centre and the World Trade Center New York amongst others. Martin is a founding director of magma architecture. He lectured at the Technical University in Cottbus, Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the GUtech in Muscat, Oman, The University of Western Australia, Perth and The University of Sydney, Australia. Since 2018 he is a professor at the University of Stuttgart leading the Institute for building construction, building technology and design.
