Matteo Modica

I'm Matteo Modica, founder and creative director of Sublimio, a boutique branding studio in Rome. I trained as a product designer, so I treat a logo like industrial design. I'm lucky to work with a small team of senior generalist designers and with international clients who bring stimulating projects. I stay close to every one of them, with no middlemen in between. I'm drawn to the place where meaning and aesthetics meet, because that's where a brand becomes strong enough to face the market and last. Nihonsakari and The Missing Element are among the clients I've worked with. The project I'm most attached to is aprile, a suspended seat I conceived at university and later designed with Sublimio.
