The unusual form of this plant keeps the soil under the plant cool and moist. The thick leaves lay on the sand surface and prevent wind erosion aswell.

The proposed design is based on enhancing social interaction through sustainable architecture, aiming to provide maximum climatic comfort and create a lively space promoting easy everyday activities, in such way that the immigrant youth would feel at home.
