About

Dr. Rabah Saoud studied in the universities of Liverpool and Manchester (UK). Since 1999, he expanded his scope of research into the history of Muslim Architecture and Civilisation and their influence. He is renowned for his co-publication of the best seller; Muslim Heritage in Our world, 1001 inventions (2006). In 2017, he published his second book: Architectural Encounters: Islam and the West. He has also published more than 50 articles in the same subject in the leading historical E-journal of Muslimheritage.com. In 2005 he worked as a senior consultant for MTE Studios to bring to light the historical significance of Dubai Ibn Battuta Shopping Mall. Dr. Saoud joined the University of Ajman in August 2008 where he holds the position of Assistant Professor.
