4Winnerherbcare centerAn important issue at the design stage was to pay attention to the needs of people after treatment and to provide them with a place to properly convalesce. The main design idea was to create a place to grow herbs with healing properties. The project refers to the history of the place through the use of brick as a facade material.
3WinnerGrid of Agreement The project is about the revival of the ecosystem on the waterfront and the Arno River in Florence, Italy. Grid of Agreement is a metaphore of the project - a place, where human connect with the nature by using the grid system. All was inspired by environment of the place and was created in the rhythm of renaissance.
185Editor's ChoiceINTROVERSE Located in a park in the heart of Beijing, the project creates a secluded space that protects users from the busy environment and prompts each individual to find their own expression of faith. Nature was used as a key element to contextualize the project while the spiral shape evokes the idea of a journey one makes towards the central space.

14WinnerHealing FaçadeBased on the belief of forest churches in the chain of interdependence between humans and non-humans, the proposal is a feasible, modular and replicable facade to address the gap made by unsustainable human actions. Through fibers, the façade catches water from the wind to protect vegetation and foster conditions for reforestation and landscape restoration.
